Affordable Conferencing - How do I make a simple conference call?

How do I make a simple conference call?

Making a conference call is easy , it takes no special equipment, all you need is a phone.

You are given a phone number which is the number you will call to start your conference. This can be either a toll free number Econo Conference or a non toll free number Flat rate conferencing

You are given two PIN codes (personal identification numbers). One is the leader PIN code and the other is the conference participates PIN codes. These are used to access the conference. This is all you need to start your conference. I will give an example of a company using a toll free number to have a conference.

Fred Jones with ABC company wishes to make a toll free conference call. He receives the following information from his conferencing company after he signs up. This is his permanent conference information he will use to have his conferences.

Toll free number 1-888-123-5678

Leader PIN code 23454#

Participates PIN Code 67893#

He wants his conference call to be at 10:00 A.M. Central Standard Time on Wednesday. He sends an email out to all the people he wants to be on the call, being sure to give them the toll free number, 1-888-123-5678, The participates PIN code 67893# and the time he will be having the conference . He calls in a little before the conference call is scheduled to begin and opens up the conference by putting in his PIN code. The participates call the toll free number he emailed them and dials in their PIN code on their phone and the conference begins. It is a very good idea to give the purpose of the conference call and stress to the participates to be on time.

Note: This is reservationless conference calling which means you are in total control and do not have to have an operator's assistance. It is usually about half the cost of an operator assisted call. You can start conferencing as soon as you get your number and PIN codes. You keep the same toll free number and pin codes for all your conferences. This is a self service conference calling service bringing people together quickly, and inexpensively.
